Cancer Care Program

The Cancer Care Program was started in response to Christ’s proclamation, “Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40). Honoring a long-time Bethany Christian Assembly member who lost a three-year battle with cancer, the Program aims to help those in our community as they go through their own cancer journey.

VISION

To transform our community by sharing and demonstrating the compassionate love of Christ.

Mission

To offer encouragement and ease the way of those facing cancer through tangible acts of generosity, support, and service.

Services

The Cancer Care Program offers three unique ways to help. Cancer Partners have experience as cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, or individuals with vocational experience around cancer. They are available to offer emotional and practical support. Community Connections provides information about organizations and services that may be helpful to cancer patients and their caregivers. Financial assistance is available to help relieve the stress of unanticipated expenses during cancer treatment*.
