Summer Bash is the event of the Summer aimed at meeting needs in our community, building relationships with our neighbors, and providing a day of fun for the whole family. We are excited to offer inflatables & kid’s games, a free lunch for all attendees, free backpacks filled with school supplies, free groceries, sno-cones, photo booth fun, and more!

VOLUNTEER

Summer Bash 2024 is Saturday, August 17th, from 11 AM - 1 PM (set up will begin at 9 AM, and we will finish clean up by 2 PM). The event will be at Hawthorne Elementary School.

Here are a few reminders for the day of the event:

1. Arrive by 9 AM wearing your Summer Bash T-shirt. (If you were unable to attend the meeting, we will have extra T-shirts at the Volunteer Check-in Booth)

2. Please save the parking spots directly across from the entrance to the field for our guests.

3. Check in at the Volunteer Booth by the front gate, pick up your lanyard, head to your assigned area, and help set up.

3. Remember, our goal is to serve and connect with our community. Be friendly and welcoming! Greet and visit with as many people as you can! 

4. If you are available a little earlier on Saturday, our Set-up Team will be at BCA at 8:30 AM; they would appreciate extra hands to help load the trucks with tables and chairs for the event.
